Sesakho Magadla (BSc(Mech Eng), PGDip(Bus Mngt)

Sesakho Magadla's career started when she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Cape Town in 2000. She immediately joined  Transnet Pipelines (Petroleum Pipeline Owner and Operator) where she assumed various roles from trainee to maintenance and Project Manager. 

She later joined Petrona (Engen Crude Refinery) as the Area Maintenance Manager responsible for maintenance, turnarounds and projects of  various process plants which included Alyklation unit, Isomerization Unit, Ashphalt Units, Sulphur Recovery Units, Utilities. The main achievements was increasing revenue through improving plant reliability as well as successful execution of a R200 million turnaround.

She later tackeled a challenge of being a Shutdown & Turnaround Manager at PetroSA where she achieved unparalleled results of a 35 day GTL-Refinery,  Offshore Gas-Platform and Bouy maintenance outage. This gave her courage to take o the resposibility of Offshore Topsides Modification Brownfield Project for a Field-Tieback.

Her unique position of being a successful black female engineer with an outstanding world-class record has given her courage to start up SECPPA.

SECPPA is a newly established company without a permanent team at the moment, however Sesakho's 15 year experience in South Africa's Oil and Gas Industry has enabled her to establish a network of industry professionals
